Vice President, Business Development North America

Paul Bush is Vice President, Business Development North America.  Mr. Bush joined Telesat in 1980 and has held a variety of key positions until being appointed to Vice President in 1997. He led initiatives in the development of direct to home (DTH) services, DBS strategy, 2-way internet via satellite, and a variety of business alliances in the Americas.

Under Mr. Bush's leadership, his department advances the company's strategy to secure long-term corporate profitability and growth by providing services to North American Broadcasters, Enterprises, and Government. Mr. Bush has spearheaded Telesat's business development efforts in the U.S. and Latin American satellite service marketplaces, and led to the introduction of the Nimiq, Anik F, and new Anik G satellites.

Mr. Bush holds a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s.
