Telstar 11N will provide service from 39 high-powered Ku-band transponders that connect three continents: North America, Western Europe and Africa. In addition, its unique Atlantic Ocean beam will support growing demand for mobile broadband from maritime and aeronautical markets. Operating from 37.5 degrees West Longitude, Telstar 11N will meet the needs of commercial and government customers seeking solutions for IP networking and transport of video content. Built by Space Systems/Loral, Telstar 11N has a design life of 15-years.
