Recently the World Teleport Association (WTA) issued findings from an independent survey in which teleport operators around the world were asked to rate the technical, operational and commercial performance of the Big Four fixed satellite service providers (SES, Intelsat, Eutelsat and Telesat).

Some key findings from the survey:

• Telesat was the satisfaction leader in overall commercial terms.
• Respondents identified Telesat as being more "teleport-friendly" in its policies and implementation.
• Operationally, the Big Four scored well, receiving a "strong" rating on 80% of factors across all operators. Telesat was again the satisfaction leader.
