  • Define traffic priorities: Define different transmission priorities for real-time, critical, and non-critical traffic to support each mission.
  • Use public and private ground infrastructure: Land data at any combination of commercial facilities and defence-owned ground infrastructure.
  • Create a private defence network: Create a fully secure, private LEO network that covers any region globally with no need to build, purchase, or operate satellites.
  • Use existing SATCOM terminals: Terminal manufacturers such as ALL.SPACE and AvL Technologies are already working to certify their terminals on the Telesat Lightspeed network.
