Tom Eaton, Telesat’s Vice President of International Sales, has prime responsibility for expanding utilization and revenue on the company’s international satellite fleet. A 25 year satellite industry veteran, Tom has held senior executive positions in the global satellite operator market and in the global network services market. He has a unique perspective of being both a supplier and consumer of satellite resources.
Tom joined Telesat in September 2014 and is based in the company’s Washington, DC office. Before joining Telesat, he was President of Harris CapRock Communications, where he played an instrumental role in the formation of a global provider of end-to-end, mission critical communications networks for government, energy and maritime customers.
Tom’s extensive experience in sales, marketing, strategy and planning has added value to the decision making of customers across the satellite industry. He holds a master’s in business administration from Mercer University and a bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Georgia.
