Telesat closes offices globally as cautionary measure due to COVID-19 pandemic

OTTAWA, CANADA, March 13, 2020 – Telesat today announced it has enacted its work from home policy in its offices globally effective March 16, 2020 in an effort to keep office workers safe and facilitate social distancing amidst the increase of COVID-19.

Telesat provides critical satellite communications infrastructure to its customers and as such, has comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure continued operations of its satellites, network and teleport infrastructure.
